Not bad place. Too pricey for my taste. Food was really good, but I have had same for less price. I get it, fancy, good to take clients to, but hard pass for me if just looking to get a bite. Service was spectacular as expected from place like this. Ambiance perfect. Perfect for special night with the wife, partner, or whatever for special occasion.

I love seaside restaurants with amazing views, excellent service, and delicious food; Domenico's provided just that. We sat by the window, enjoying the view of the water as otters and seals swam and played nearby. It felt like dinner and a show lol. The servers were highly professional, efficient, and kind. For drinks, we ordered a beer and a bloody mary; both were great. For our meals, we shared a Clam Chowder Bread Bowl and the Mixed Seafood Grill with salmon, swordfish, and prawns served with a caper white wine butter sauce, mashed potatoes, and vegetables. Each bite was flawless; everything was expertly cooked and seasoned. We were very impressed. We'll definitely be back again when we visit Monterey!

The week of Sept 16th, 2024 we took a trip up to Monterey, Ca. We especially were looking forward to visiting the Wharf and having a seafood lunch. The weather was overcast and cool. The wharf was busy but not overcrowded. We were undecided as to where we wanted to eat. We were looking for a nice 'sit down' restaurant. After we explored the Wharf and took in the views of the departing whale watching cruises, the active seals swimming or lounging under the wharf and the sea otters floating on their back in the water, we chose to dine at Domenico's. We were glad to be seated promptly at a window table, which is a must whenever you dine on the wharf. Zane was our server that day. I ordered their Cioppino, Clam Chowder and a 7 and Seven. My wife ordered the Caesar Chicken Salad. The Cioppino was Excellent!!... and my wife was more than satisfied with her Caesar Salad. We would definitely visit Domenico's again as the service was great! We didn't feel rushed! The food was Great! ... and the atmosphere in the restaurant was calm. Thank you to Zane and staff for making our visit a pleasant one!

I love this place strictly due to the Alaskan King crab. I usually come a few times a year and thoroughly enjoy it. The view are great and the price is typical for you touristy type spots. They have a great kids menu and great beer prices. My only complaint is sometimes the crab is not heated to my preference. When spending $85 a Lb I don't expect parts to be cold. I haven't said anything because in the past at OTHER LOCATIONS they act as if you don't know anything about the steaming of crab. Anyhow. My recent experience had a hot leg and a cold claw and leg. Please be sure all food is hot guys!! Aside from that the food is usually amazing and even if it's coldish still taste absolutely amazing. HIGHLY recommend.

Domenico's is a favorite of mine and I always try to visit when I'm in Monterey. I made a reservation (requesting a window view) through open table. My husband and I walked in about 10 min early and noticed the couple in front of us were walk ins and had also requested a window view. Initially the host was going to accommodate them with the last window view seat. We informed the host we had a reservation and had requested a window view. The host was friendly and helpful and went to his manager to figure out the dilemma. We overheard the manager say window views are not guaranteed. We were curious how the host was going to handle this and contemplated why we made a reservation in the first place. We were pleased to see the host explain to the other couple he could seat them close to the window and then he came over and sat us in the last window view seat. He also mentioned it was good we made reservations as that was why we got the last window view seat. Our server's name was Charles and he was friendly. I ordered my usual, linguine and clams , while my husband ordered the pasta primavera. We also shared a house salad with the dressing and cheese on the side as my husband is vegan. The server shared that the raspberry vinaigrette did not have cream in it but after my husband tasted it he felt it may have Parmesan cheese in it and avoided it. I enjoyed the dressing, it did have a slight creaminess to it. The linguine and clams had a good amount of clams in it and a nice buttery and garlic taste as well. My husband enjoyed his pasta primavera. He shared that the marinara sauce had a nice velvety texture and was very flavorful. Service was adequate, Charles looked busy and because of that we had to ask for water twice and refills as well. Overall we enjoyed our visit and will definitely come back.

Really great atmosphere and service. Eric was our server and he was attentive and kind. The food was delicious! I had the halibut and my husband had the clam chowder bread bowl. We both enjoyed our food very much! We also went at a time when lots of wild life was active outside our window. We saw otters and cute baby sea lions. All around nice experience and will gladly eat here again.

Beautiful day on the wharf overlooking the marina enjoying a bevy of seafood dishes. Really enjoyed the waterfront view watching the boats go by. I was hoping to see a seal, but no luck today. Fresh flowers on the tables are a nice detail which punctuates the decor and service. Service is top notch with a host of staff making sure every detail was covered throughout our meal. The complimentary fried calamari was a nice start and served with a nice homemade cocktail sauce, but a little heavy on the batter. Fish was tender and moist inside and served with a delicious tartar sauce. I liked that the food was not greasy. Sourdough bread basket served hot and fresh.
